Artwork and Inspiration

Having a degree in counseling has helped me have a better understanding of the human need for connection. Through my artwork, I have discovered a means to delve deeper within myself and establish unique connections with others. Painting has always been an integral part of my life, and it was my daughter's bravery in overcoming her fears that inspired me to confront my own and embark on a journey to become a full-time professional artist. I am honored to have been selected as a participant in the esteemed FASTA Exhibition in 2022.

 As an artist, I aim to capture the beauty of Florida and create artwork that fosters a deep connection with its enchanting allure. I approach each piece with a different perspective, aiming to present captivating artwork that truly reflects the essence of this magnificent state and the various emotions it gives to all of us. I am always amazed by all the different aspects Florida has and I have no doubt I will spend my life exploring it.

 Acrylics and oils on canvas enable me to explore bolder and richer textures. With these mediums, I can create a sense of depth and dimension, drawing you in with vibrant colors and captivating scenes. The versatility and flexibility of acrylics and oils allow me to layer and blend colors to achieve intriguing visual effects.

 Watercolor allows me to create delicate compositions that beautifully capture the essence and fluidity of Florida. The transparency and ethereal quality of watercolors evoke a sense of tranquility, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the captivating beauty of nature.
